Tourette Syndrome and Drumming:

Giving TS Kids A Musical Day

This page is the most important of all my work. Since 2010, I have been conducting drum set/drum circle demos for young people with Tourette's. I do this because I want to share the message of how important music and drumming were to me growing up.

Remo, Inc. offered a class called "Beat The Odds" that taught me the basics of how to lead a drum circle for young players, and I have used those tools and their hand drums (Versa Drums)  with great success.

My demos are never exactly the same, other than in one way: players discover the magic of drumming and the true freedom to move and joyfully express themselves.

Thanks to Remo's ongoing support, I have been able to present my demos not only in the U.S. but overseas in England as well. I'll be taking this show on the road as far as I can, and I do hope to see you there.

In the meantime, here's a link to a blog I wrote about the England show to give you an idea of how things usually go.
